How we work

Four commitments

  • Better fibres

Organic cotton, linen and recycled polyester preferred on house labels — labelled clearly on every product page.

  • Lean packaging

Recycled mailers, no plastic tissue by default, and returns labels that reuse the original carton when possible.

  • Longer wear

Cuts built to mix seasons, free 30-day returns, and repair guidance in The Journal so pieces stay in rotation.

  • Smarter shipping

Consolidated Thursday fulfilment, carbon-aware carrier choices on express, and free shipping only when the bag earns it.

Materials

What’s in the cloth

House labels lead with preferred fibres. Partner brands are selected for transparency — we publish composition on every product page so you can decide with the full picture.

  • Organic cotton

Grown without synthetic pesticides. Used across tees, oxfords and jersey basics in NORTH&CO.

  • Selvedge denim

ARK DENIM mills run lower-impact washes; unfinished hems mean fewer re-cuts and longer life.

  • Recycled nylon

Outerwear shells and bag linings divert post-consumer waste without sacrificing hand-feel.

  • Traceable leather

Footwear partners disclose tannery origin. We skip exotic skins and chrome-heavy finishes.
